Working with today's appointments

The appointments listed in Service Dashboard come directly from Appointment Manager. You can view and manage much of the appointment information via Service Dashboard.

 

Viewing appointments

Appointments in Booked or Missed status for the day are shown at the top of the Vehicle Queue page as shown below. A gold bar indicates a booked appointment, a red bar indicates a missed appointment.

Only one service for a VIN can be displayed in the Service Dashboard on any given day. If there is already a service in progress in the vehicle queue, additional appointments for the same VIN and day will not be shown in the Appointments List.

Click to switch from a row view of appointments (as shown above) to a stacked view. This is a useful view for a greeter to use:

 

Appointments can be edited via the Service Dashboard and any changes are automatically updated in the Appointment Manager. You can update the date, time, Advisor or department information, as well as delete the appointment.

From the row or stacked view of appointments in the Vehicle Queue page, click once in an appointment. The edit options appear:

  1. Click to cancel the appointment. It is removed from the Appointment Manager as well as the DMS.
  2. (Add to Queue function) Click to add the vehicle to the Service Dashboard vehicle queue as an alternative to it adding automatically from Advisor Check-In or Mobile Check-in.
  3. Click to reschedule the appointment, including rescheduling a missed appointment. You can also change the Service Advisor, date, time and department. Use the following page to reschedule the appointment: 

  1. Click "Reschedule" to save your changes.
  2. Click "Back" to return to the Vehicle Queue page.

Note: If services need to be removed or added, you will need to apply these updates via the Appointment Manager.
