Notes:

  • Symptom Surveys must be enabled for the dealership.
  • Infiniti vehicles are currently excluded.

Launching VCAT from Advisor Check-In

There are two Automatic Transmission survey options on the Concerns tab:

Selecting the survey for a CVT transmission launches VCAT in a new browser tab.

After signing in, the advisor can complete the Warranty Pre-approval questionnaire. The following details are pre-filled from Advisor Check-In: Dealer Code, VIN, RO Date, Advisor and DMS ID.

Note: The first time that VCAT link is launched, you may see a screen saying the connection is not secure. To proceed, click the link to continue/get details, then click the link that appears letting you continue. The actual warning screen depends on the browser used.

As for all Symptom Surveys, a completed Automatic Transmission CVT survey:

  • Can be updated () or deleted () as needed.
  • If update is selected, the survey is re-launched in VCAT.
  • If the survey line is deleted, it is removed from Advisor Check-in but the completed questionnaire remains in VCAT.

Note: For more information about Symptom Surveys, please refer to the Symptom Survey Enhancements Release Notes from June, 2020.
