The maintenance menu

An example of the maintenance menu is shown below. Content and format of the menu is set by dealer administration and may include:

• previous, current and next service intervals
• recommended services
• future intervals for the vehicle
• marketing and promotional material for your dealership
• vehicle inspection report

Note: Use the next required services in a couple of ways:

1. If the next service is a major service, then point it out to the customer so they will not be surprised when they come in for that visit.

2. If the current visit is a major service, then point out the previous and next boxes showing how the major services are not the norm and that based on the interval the vehicle requires more service, but the next interval will be much less intensive.
