Tracking services work

The Technician uses the Approved Services page to review approved services and track work completed on the vehicle as described in Approved Services page.

The Service Advisor may not have approved the recommendations yet but the Technician can still start working in this page. The recommendations are added if and when they are approved. Refer to Confirming the work for more information.

To complete this page:

  1. As a service is completed mark it done ().
  2. When all services are complete, click "Save" then "Ready for Processing". The status is updated to .

Notes:

  • The "Ready for Processing" button is only enabled if both the following are true:

    • All recommendations in the inspection have been marked “Approved” or “Deferred” by the Technician and the inspection marked "Confirmed", or there are no approved recommendations in the inspection.
    • All services are marked done on this page and saved by the Technician.

  • If 'Automatically Advance to Ready for Processing' is configured for the dealership, the technician will not need to click "Ready for Processing" when all services from the pre-write have been marked as done on and saved, and either:

    • There are no recommendations needing approval, or

    • There are recommendations needing approval but the customer replies and defers all recommendations.
