Inspection summary, function buttons and tabs

The Inspection summary, function buttons and application tabs appear at the top of each page.

1. "Assigned To" – select a Technician from the drop-down to reassign the inspection. They will be sent a notification. Refer to Assigning a new Technician.
2. Summary information - including:
   • Promise delivery time.
   • Customer and vehicle information.
   • RO# - click to enter or update it, if needed.
   • Transportation option, save parts and car wash icons if selected.
   • MPI PDF link .
   • Inspection status.
3. Use "Hide" and "Show" to open and collapse the summary information. When hidden, a summary ribbon appears instead:

4. Function buttons – described in Function buttons. These are specific to the user type.
5. Application tabs:
• Inspection page – displays the inspection page.
• Recommendation page (Service Advisor) – displays all recommendations for the current inspection.
• Parts List page (Parts Advisor) - used for completing parts pricing and availability.
• Approved Services page – shows a complete picture of the services for the vehicle.
• Walk Around page – displays the results of the Service Advisor walk around.
6. If the Standard template is being used, the Technician can choose to include one or both of and based on the needs of the vehicle. If an option is de-selected, the associated inspection items are grayed-out.

Note: When a user switches from one tab to another, any updates made on the first tab are automatically saved to ensure that the data on the new tab is the most current. A message appears at the top of the page
