Confirming the work

Note: This step can also be completed on the Recommendations page in Service Dashboard or Workspace if Digital MPI is enabled for the dealership.

Click “Confirm” after checking that everything is correct and all decisions have been recorded. The status of the inspection changes to . The Technician is notified, and approved recommendations are added to the Approved Services page. Refer to Approved Services page for more information.

Note: The "Confirm" button is only enabled once all recommendations are approved or deferred.

To print a copy of the completed inspection report at this time, click . This is the same as viewing the inspection report from the vehicle queue. Refer to Generating the MPI report for more information.

 

The Service Advisor can use the "Revise Inspection" button to make changes on the Recommendation page, such as changing a customer decision, once the inspection is in Confirmed status, if revisions are enabled for Service Advisorss.

Note: Revisions can also be made when the status is 'Sent To Customer' which appears when recommendations are sent to the customer using Digital MPI , if enabled at your dealership.
