Multi-dealer support

Many call-centers provide support for more than one dealership.

With multi-dealer support in Customer Connect, the Appointment Coordinator or Dealer Administrator uses a single ID to access all their campaigns. They can select which dealership's information they want to work with or book an appointment for without having to log out then back in to each dealer.

To take advantage of this feature, the dealerships and users in the call-center must be configured for multi-dealer support. Once configuration is complete, a user will only need to log in to one dealership to have access to their other dealer's campaigns.

Please contact Client Support to configure multi-dealer access for your call-centers and users. They will complete your authorizations in Admin Settings:

  • Each of the dealers supported by your call-center will be enabled for multi-dealer support.
  • Each user will be set up with a multi-dealer group that includes one or more of these dealers.

Note: To use the multi-dealer feature, the user must log in to a dealership that has multi-dealer support enabled, and they must use an ID that has been configured with a multi-dealer group that includes this dealership.

Dashboard The logged-in dealer, or the list of dealers last selected on the Reports page. See results from one or moredealers selected from your multi-dealer group.
Tasks The logged-in dealer, or the dealer last selected on the Campaigns, Search, Config, Scripts or Messenger pages. Select any one dealer from your multi-dealer group to work with their campaigns and tasks.
Task details The dealer associated with the task. Appointments can be booked with any of your dealers.
Reports The logged-in dealer, or the list of dealers last selected on the Dashboard page. See results from one or moredealers selected from your multi-dealer group. Note: Report details are by dealer for 'By Campaign' reports.
Campaigns The logged-in dealer, or the dealer last selected on the Tasks, Search, Config, Scripts or Messenger pages. Select any one dealer from your multi-dealer group to work with their campaigns.
Script The logged-in dealer, or the dealer last selected on the Tasks, Search, Campaigns, Config or Messenger pages. Select any one dealer from your multi-dealer group to work with their campaigns.
Messenger The logged-in dealer, or the dealer last selected on the Campaigns, Scripts, Search, Config or Tasks pages (or the first Messenger-enabled dealer ). Select any one dealer from your multi-dealer group to use Messenger for their customers and vehicles
Search and Config The logged-in dealer, or the dealer last selected on the Campaigns, Scripts, Tasks or Messenger pages. Select any one dealer from your multi-dealer group to search their campaigns or configure their settings.
