Employees – Recurring tab

The final sub-tab under Employees is the Recurring tab. Use this page to block recurring time segments for the Service Advisor such as lunch breaks.

As on the Calendar tab, use the time lines for each day to set the recurring blocked times for the Service Advisor. The time lines default to the department’s working hours and holidays.  

  1. In the example above, the dealer does not want to allow appointments on Mondays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm and after 4:00 pm.
  2. Click the “Add” icon beside a time line to add changes to the day. If the day is already blocked for the employee, it is grayed-out.
  3. Click the ‘x’ above a block in a time line to delete it.
  4. Click “Save” to save any changes.  Click “Cancel” to cancel your changes.

When viewing the employee calendar again, all the dates with recurring blocks are now orange indicating that no appointments can be booked in certain blocked time slots for the Service Advisor in Online Scheduler or the Appointment Manager.  

Note: Recurring blocks are effective for the rest of the calendar year and must be reset at the beginning of each year.
